Living Life Healthy

Being in healthcare I see people with differing opinions of health

  1. The young and vibrant

  2. The “I’m healthy so leave me alone I made a mistake and I just want to have fun”

  3. The “my family history sucks so let me do it all now”

  4. The “I never have health problems” person

  5. The risk taker

  6. The “ I have many health problems and many doctors and lots of pain so I can’t do anything” person

  7. The “they told me I had something on my chest x-ray three months ago but I am not worried about it because I have always been healthy” person

  8. The addictive personality that says “I’m going to quit today and get some help” as their history says that this is the fifth time this month.

  9. The depressed “I’m not depressed” person

  10. The “death sentence person” who sees a mole on their skin and thinks that a cancer is eating them alive!

You may recall Mahatma Gandhi said, "It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold or silver". and that “one must not live in order to eat and drink and be merry, but eat and drink in order to make bodies temples of God and to use them for the service of man".  We must everyday realize that health is our jewel and that exercise meditation and supplementation makes us whole.
